You've planned everything to the detail, but as you're on your way out of the bridal suite, you panic thinking what your bridesmaids may need to keep handy for you throughout the long day and night. Here is a quick and easy guide to help you keep your head on (and your face) for your big day.

Save these 10 tips that will keep you feeling and looking fresh all night long.

1. Keep your lipstick handy. - I can't stress this enough, hence why it's #1. I provide a range of shades and tones of both lip liner and lipstick; however, if you don't sign on for touch-up's throughout the night, once your makeup artist is off-site you may be upside down looking for a similar shade in your own makeup bag. Most brides go for a soft classic look, so why not bring along your signature shade that you know will look perfect? If you choose to go for a colored lip, it's definitely going to need a touch up at some point, so toss it in your bag and remain worry free.

2. Get a facial the week before.- If you've had a facial before you know that sometimes it takes a day or even two for your skin to start looking amazing after your treatment. Don't risk it by getting a facial too close to the day of your wedding just in case you may have any flair ups, redness, etc.

3. Come with clean skin. - I know this is hard. You had so much fun with your wedding party last night at the rehearsal dinner, how can you be expected to do skincare before bed? Set an alarm for a time you know you'll be home, or put one of your bridesmaids in charge of reminding you to wash your face! Check with your artist to make sure they will provide skincare for you and your bridal party. I keep my kit stocked with a variety of skincare products that will address most skincare concerns: redness, breakouts, dullness, uneven tones, etc. So the day of your wedding you just need to show up with a clean face, and I will provide the rest!

4. Blotting sheets or hydration spray? - This depends on you. I work most closely in the Chihuahuan desert where dry skin is a REAL problem. If you are feeling dry at any point or like your makeup is cracking, I suggest the Mario Badescu facial sprays. When you have a second, spray your face with a couple of sprays from a 6" distance and take a damp beauty blender to re-soften any makeup that may be starting to get dry. Adversely, because it's so dry some clients come to me with oily skin concerns on their wedding day. In this case, bring some blotting sheets. They can usually be found inexpensive at a drug store or beauty store. Don't spend more than $6, most of them work equally as great!

5. Schedule a trial. - This can be done anytime before the wedding, I usually recommend to schedule your trial for a nice dinner, your engagement photos, or rehearsal dinner so you don't waste a perfect beat. Some brides ask, " But what if I don't like the makeup and I'm stuck with it in my engagement photos?" Communicate with your artist. If something doesn't feel right, speak up. "More blending," "Less product," "My eyelash feels funny," or whatever it may be. If you did your research and chose wisely, your artist should be able to address any concerns you may have right away to get you some good photos for the day. When you schedule a trial, you get rid of the nerves you may have about sitting in the makeup chair. You know exactly what to expect.

6. Eat smart. - I know, it's hard. Everyone's around you drinking and eating delicious finger foods, but you're better than that! You know what foods make you bloat, breakout, have heartburn, and whatever else. Just be mindful. Make sure to drink plenty of water always, but most importantly leading up to the wedding day. Try to avoid beer, lots of bread, red meat, high sodium and dairy. Tequila + soda, please and thank you!

7. Communicate with your team. - Your stylists for hair, makeup and wardrobe are there for you. You should feel amazing and happy with the way you look. Now is not the time to be complacent. You hired capable people to glam you up and make you feel your most gorgeous. Tell them if you feel like something is out of place, even if it's what you asked for. If you see your MUA come close to your face with a thick eyeliner brush and you know you never discussed that, speak up! Don't wait until it's already done and now you're in the bathroom washing your face 20 minutes before you walk down the isle. If there's enough time on the clock, your artist should do whatever it takes to get you out the door with a glowing smile. Communication with your girls is important too, not just your beauty team. You chose these people to surround you because they know you. Get an opinion from someone you really trust to tell you, "You need more shimmer, queen!" Or less.
8. Breakouts. - It's your nightmare come true. You wake up a day or two before the wedding and you're growing a second head on your cheek. Breathe. Take a warm wash cloth, not too hot, and compress your face a few times. Take an Advil liquid gel and poke a small hole in the side. Rub this liquid on your blemish(es) and in a few hours the redness and swelling should go down significantly. Especially if you're able to sleep with it overnight. A dot of retinal will also do the job. Whatever you do, DO NOT pick at it. Trust.

9. Dab, don't rub. - You're on the dance floor, shakin' your groove thang breaking a sweat and SWIPE right across your upper lip. Now what about that cupids bow highlight? It's gone. Don't be that girl. Take a cloth napkin or blotting sheet (mentioned in #4) and dab the sweat off. You may have a small amount of product transfer off, but it will look way better than if you just start wiping your face with dirty hands.

10. Lash glue. - It's not always the case that you have to touch up your lashes mid-evening, but you're probably crying more than usual today (Happy tears, of course!). Bring your eyelash glue with you, just in case you need a touch up for any lifting lashes or ask your MUA if they wouldn't mind bringing along an extra small eyelash glue for you to keep the day of.
